The coding region has been updated to extend the N-terminus to one that is more supported by available conservation data. The extended 5' CDS lacks transcript support in human, but is supported by transcript data in mouse (AK131887.1, AK164929.1, BC150798.1 and four ESTs). The human and mouse splice sites are conserved. In addition, the human sequence includes an additional tandem repeat region in the second exon, which makes it longer than the equivalent exon in mouse. |
