The coding region has been updated to extend the N-terminus to one that is more supported by the available transcript and conservation data. There are no human full-length transcripts representing this exon combination, but it is supported by the tiled ESTs BX395637.2, BX371487.2, BX348769.2 and BX395636.2 from the same clone, which were used to construct Genoscope accession CR604280.1. The updated N-terminus is also supported by homologous mouse transcripts.
