The coding region has been updated to represent an alternative splice variant that is more supported by the available transcript and protein data. The update is supported by BC115036.1 and BC115038.1. This CCDS previously represented the delta(2-10) variant that is only supported by BC106746.1, a partial mRNA, and by RT-PCR analysis from breast cancer tissues in PMID:9115959. However, its full-length exon combination is unknown, and thus the update was made based on a known full-length variant.
