This CCDS represents the shorter (or RICS) isoform encoded by the Arhgap32 gene. Another isoform, PX-RICS, with a longer N-terminus also exists. Both isoforms are conserved between mouse and human and have been described in the literature, including in PMIDs 17663722, 16716191, 12857875 and 12531901. Although there is evidence for the existence of the longer isoform in mouse, the 5' exons encoding it lack publicly available mouse transcript support, and it is therefore not yet represented in the CCDS set.
