Public Note for CCDS 32200.1
The coding region has been updated to extend the N-terminus to one that is more supported by available conservation data or publications. The longer protein encoded by this updated coding region is consistent with the Rtf1 Plus3 domain shown in PMID:18184592 (Figure 1). The translation start AUG codon in the update has a weak Kozak sequence, while a downstream AUG (amino acid 41) has a stronger Kozak sequence so it is possible that sometimes ribosomes may start translation at the downstream AUG due to leaky scanning.
