Vibrio cholerae RfbT protein
This family consists of several RfbT proteins from Vibrio cholerae. It has been found that genetic alteration of the rfbT gene is responsible for serotype conversion of Vibrio cholerae O1 and determines the difference between the Ogawa and Inaba serotypes, in that the presence of rfbT is sufficient for Inaba-to-Ogawa serotype conversion.
