Bacillus mediterraneensis vis-a-vis B. massilinigeriensis type strain
Alou et al. (2016) write that strain Marseille-P2366 (= CSUR P2366 = DSM 102091) is the type strain of Bacillus mediterraneensis, and Alou et al. (2016b) writhe that strain Marseille-P2384 (= CSUR P2384) is the type strain of Bacillus massilinigeriensis. Contradictorily, Cadoret et al. (2017) write that the type strain of Bacillus mediterraneensis is Marseille-P2384 (= CSUR P2384 = DSM 102091), and that strain Marseille-P2366 (= CSUR P2366 = DSM 102112) is the type strain of Bacillus massilinigeriensis.
