Aging is a pressing global concern, frequently accompanied by the emergence of chronic illnesses. Xiyangshen Sanqi Danshen granules (XSD) have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-fatigue functions, but the mechanism of their anti-aging functions is not clear. To elucidate the mechanism by which XSD delays D-galactose-induced aging in mice. An investigation was conducted to establish an aging model using C57BL/6J mice through the injection of D-galactose intraperitoneally at a dosage of 0.25 g/kg/d. Meanwhile, we set up Control group, D-gal group, MT group (10 mg/kg/d), D-gal+XSDL group(0.2245 g/kg/d), D-gal+XSDM group (0.6734 g/kg/d) and D-gal+XSDH group (2.02 g/kg/d). Transcriptome sequencing was performed on the brain tissues of control group, D-gal group and D-gal+XSDH group to observe the differentially expressed genes so as to clarify the anti-aging mechanism of XSD.
