Mesenchymal plasticity of devil facial tumour cells during in vivo vaccine and immunotherapy trials
Serial biopsies from experimentally-induced devil facial tumour 1 (DFT1) in three Tasmanian devils were analysed by single-read RNA sequencing. Two of the Tasmanian devils were previously immunised, providing unique 'cases' that could be analysed to understand DFT1 growth under tumour-specific pressure from the immune system. Growth and regression of the DFT1 tumours analysed in this study was described in a previous study by Tover et al, 2017 (doi: 10.1038/srep43827)
