Guayule (Parthenium argentatum) is an alternative source of natural rubber. To better understand the enzymology and regulation of rubber biosynthesis in guayule we sequenced the transcriptome of rubber producing and control tissues from guayule. This data was used in de novo transcriptome assembly and differential gene expression analyses.
