More...In the dissimilation pathway of Pichia pastoris, formaldehyde is oxidized to CO2 by formaldehyde dehydrogenase (FLD), s-hydroxymethyl glutathione hydrolase (FGH) and formate dehydrogenase (FDH). These three genes were knocked out separately in GS115. The transcriptional profiles of GS115 and dissimilation pathway knockout strains were developed in methanol culture, and designated as GS115, KO_FLD_M, KO_FGH_M and KO_FDH_M.
