Carlito syrichta (Philippine tarsier)

Low-coverage genome sequence of the Philippine tarsier, Carlito syrichta

See Genome Information for Carlito syrichta
The Philippine tarsier genome is being sequenced at ~2X coverage by the Washington University Genome Sequencing Center and the Broad Institute using a whole genome shotgun sequencing strategy. As a prosimian primate, the genome sequence should provide greater depth to primate genome comparisons and a better understanding of primate genome evolution.
