The Tribolium castaneum reference sequence (Refseq) genome is provided by NCBI using WGS sequence and assembly instructions provided by the Baylor College of Medicine. The RefSeq sequences and Map Viewer display are based on Tcas_3.0, released in September 2007. Gene models were calculated by NCBI using the Gnomon gene prediction tool.
