Here we examine the expression of Nematostella vectensis genes through the course of development with quantitative RNA-seq (50 base pair single end). We measured transcript abundance at six time points in development, with two replicates per time point: zygote (2 hours post fertilization (HPF)), early blastula (7 HPF), mid-blastula (12 HPF), gastrula (24 HPF), planula (5 days post fertilization (DPF)) and young polyp (10 DPF). This sample is from pooled zygotes at 2 hours post fertilization, and is considered "replicate 2" (of 2).
