To study human basic biology and disease, high-quality, error-free, complete genome assemblies are needed. For this purpose, this trio of samples of a son (this submission) and parents were collected at the Rockefeller University to generate a high-quality, haplotype phased, reference genome as part of the G10K-VGP (Vertebrate Genomes Project). This sample will be used to continue to benchmark high-quality human genome assemblies.
