Annex 33Guideline Development Group declaration of conflicts of interest summaries

33.1. Background

All non-WHO staff who participated in any of the following groups were required to complete a Declaration of Interest form and a confidentiality agreement:

  1. WHO Steering Committee
  2. WHO Guideline Development Group (GDG)
  3. HIV self-testing (HIVST) Technical Working Group (TWG)
  4. External Review Group

Only WHO GDG members had the ability to vote and participate in making recommendations; however chairs were asked to abstain from voting or voicing an opinion during the session which they facilitated.
