Microarray analyses of lymph node dendritic cells (DCs) stimulated in vitro with papain or LPS

(Submitter supplied) T helper type 2 (Th2) responses are induced by protease allergens and helminthes. However the molecular mechanisms that initiate Th2 responses are poorly understood. To obtain insight into this mechanism, we performed a microarray analysis of lymph node DCs stimulated in vitro with the protease allergen papain, or with LPS, a Th1 inducing stimulus. Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Array [CDF: Mm_Unigene_10]

(Submitter supplied) CDF file was created by Microarray Lab at the Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience Institute at the University of Michigan. After probe sequences are BLASTed against the latest UniGene Build and genome sequence, a series of filtering and grouping criteria are applied for different CDF files. A probe must hit only one genomic location. Probes that can be mapped to the same target sequence in the correct direction are grouped together in the same probe set; Each probe set must contain at least three oligonucleotide probes and probes in a set are ordered according to their location in the corresponding exon; Protocol: This is identical to GPL1261 but a custom cdf environment was used to extract data. more...
