Mouse preimplantation development

(Submitter supplied) We examined expression profiles of genes that could be regulated by the MAPK pathways during mouse preimplantation development. We used Affymetrix GeneChips for microarray analysis, and three independent experiments were carried out. 8-cell stage embryos were treated or untreated with MAPK inhibitors, and blastocyst stage embryos were recruited for the study. Blastocyst response to various MAPK pathway inhibitors (MOE430 2.0)

Expression profiling of blastocysts following inhibition of JNK, p38 MAPK, or ERK signaling. JNK, p38 MAPK, and ERK signaling inhibited by SP600125, SB203580, and U0126 respectively. Results provide insight into the role of MAPK pathways in preimplantation development.
