Mitochondrial Dysfunction Induces Epigenetic Dysregulation by H3K27 Hyperacetylation to Perturb Active Enhancers in Parkinson’s Disease Models

Differentially expressed miRNA in recurrent implantation failure (RIF)

(Submitter supplied) we utilized Exiqon miRCURY™ LNA Array (v18.0, Exiqon, Vedbaek, Denmark) to establish miRNA expression profiles in the endometrial tissues at the time of embryo implantation(day 7 after ovulation) from 8 RIF patients and 10 matched controls. A total of 157 miRNAs exhibited distinct expression patterns in RIF patients as opposed to controls (fold change >2.0 and P-value <0.05).

DEN-induced rat model reproduces key features of human hepatocellular carcinoma

(Submitter supplied) Using RNA-seq analysis, we study a DEN-induced HCC rat model during fibrosis progression and HCC development with special focus on liver inflammatory microenvironment. RNA-seq results show that DEN-induced liver tumors in rat model share remarkable molecular characteristics with human HCC, especially with HCC associated with high proliferation. In conclusion, our study provides detailed insight into the hepatocarcinogenesis in a commonly used model of HCC, facilitating the future use of this model for preclinical testing.

miRNA expression profiling and identification of a miRNA regulator for macrophage polarization in the murine alveolar macrophage cell line MH-S.

(Submitter supplied) Using the highly sensitive miRNA array, we screened differentially regulated miRNAs in IL-4-induced M2 macrophages and explored the functions of miR-378a-3p by Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes annotation. Furthermore, the quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, western blot and dual luciferase reporter assay results showed that Grb2 is a specific target of miR-378a-3p, which will give new insights in disclosing the mechanism of macrophage polarization.
