Expression data from young and old zebrafish brain.

(Submitter supplied) Brains are sexually dimorphic in adult zebrafish. We dissected brains from young and old, adult zebrafish, from both males and females. Brains are not pooled but analyzed as indivual samples.

Age and gender effect on brain

Analysis of brain from young (7.5-8.5 months) and old (31-36 months) wildtype males and females. Brains are sexually dimorphic in adults. Results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms associated with brain aging across gender.
Organism:
Danio rerio
Type:
Expression profiling by array, transformed count, 2 age, 2 gender sets
Platform:
GPL1319
Series:
GSE53430
