Gene expression data in murine nasal mucosa following nanoemulsion adjuvant exposure

(Submitter supplied) Antigen uptake, processing, trafficking and presentation in nasal mucosal tissues are regulated by complex intra- and inter-cellular signalling events. Typical vaccine adjuvants lead to the transcription of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines which relate to immune induction. We used microarrays to detail the global expression of genes in murine nasal mucosa underlying immune induction with a non-inflammatory nanoemulsion nasal adjuvant.

Gene expression data in Bone Marrow Derived Dendritic Cells (BMDC) following nanoemulsion adjuvant exposure

(Submitter supplied) Antigen uptake, processing and presentation by dendritic cells are regulated by complex intra- and inter-cellular signalling events. Typical vaccine adjuvants lead to the transcription of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines which relate to immune induction. We used microarrays to detail the global expression of genes in BMDC underlying emulsion internalization and DC activation with a non-inflammatory nanoemulsion adjuvant.

Effect of W805EC nanoemulsion (NE) on global gene transcription in JawsII dendritic cells in vitro

(Submitter supplied) Nanoemulsion adjuvant affects immune gene expression in dendritic cells. Microarray was used to asses global changes in gene expression in JAWS II dendritic cells upon treatment with nanoemulsion (NE) adjuvant W805EC

Nanoemulsion adjuvant W805EC effect on JAWS II dendritic cells: time course

Analysis of JAWS II DCs incubated with nanoemulsion (NE) adjuvant W805EC for up to 24 hrs. W805EC is an oil-in-water emulsion with nanodroplets similar in size to many viruses infecting the nasal mucosa. Results provide insight into the molecular basis of the adjuvant activity of W805EC NE in DCs.

RNA-sequencing of NALT from mouse after intranasal immunization with B. abortus rMDH loaded chitosan nanoparticles (CNs)

(Submitter supplied) Brucellosis is a serious zoonotic disease caused by the genus Brucella, a group of Gram-negative and facultative intracellular bacteria. At present, although live attenuated vaccine such as Rev.1, S19 and RB51 have been widely used for bovine brucellosis, these vaccines have some drawbacks, and safe and effective alternatives have been demanded. Previously, our group showed that several Brucella proteins malate dehydrogenase (rMDH) are effective in eliciting IgG responses in murine model following intraperitoneal injection. more...

IL-4 drastically decreases deuterosomal and multiciliated cells via alteration in progenitor cell differentiation

(Submitter supplied) Allergic inflammation affects the epithelial cell populations resulting in goblet cell hyperplasia and decreased ciliated cells. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of allergic inflammation in nasal epithelial cell transcriptomes at the single-cell level. We performed scRNAseq in cultured primary human nasal epithelial (HNE) cells and in vivo nasal epithelium. The transcriptomic features and epithelial cell subtypes were determined under IL-4 stimulation, and cell-specific marker genes and proteins were identified. more...
