Interferon regulatory factor 6 null mutation effect on the skin

Analysis of skins of interferon regulatory factor 6 (IRF6) null mutants at embryonic day 17.5. Genetic variations in IRF6 are associated with cleft lip and palate in humans. Results provide insight into the role of IRF6 in epidermal development.
