Is expressed in adult insulin secreting cell of pars intercerebralis; embryonic/larval central nervous system; head; and lamina tangential neurons. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in developmental and epileptic encephalopathy 59 and nicotine dependence. Orthologous to human GABBR2 (gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 2).
