    Annotation information
Note: On NCBI's Build 37.2, GeneID 100291620 was annotated on chromosome X on the Celera assembly and on chromosome Y on the HuRef assembly. This portion of chromosome Y of the HuRef assembly appears to be mis-assembled, as this pseudogene is located adjacent to PABPC5 (GeneID 140886) within the X-specific 13d-sY43 subinterval of the chromosome Xq21.3/Yp11.2 homology block (see PMID 10610725 and PMID 11374897). GeneID 100291620 was merged into GeneID 100287033, annotated on chromosome X of the GRCh37.p2 reference assembly, to make the annotation consistent across the three genome assemblies. [13 Feb 2013]

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
