    In gastric infiltrating lymphocytes, CCR6(+ ) CD4(+ ) CD25(high) Tregs, which express high levels of CD45RO, are positively associated with more severe inflammation in gastric mucosa during H. pylori infection. The frequency of CCR6(+) Tregs is positively correlated with the frequency of CD4(+ ) IFN-gamma(+) T cells while is inversely correlated with lower expression of IFN-gamma(+ ) CD8(+) T cells.
