Title: Sperm-associated antigen 11A is expressed exclusively in the principal cells of the mouse caput epididymis in an androgen-dependent manner.
Model was developed in which Bin1b was exclusively overexpressed by up to 50-fold in the caput epididymis. The transgenic mice are healthy with normal reproductive activity, but are more resistant to epididymal infection from E coli than normal animals.
