Manufacture protocol Publicly available cDNA sequences (2010) for Biomphalaria glabrata were assembled using Mira. Transcripts were analyzed and as needed reverse complemented for longest continuous ORF. A total of 30593 predicted transcripts, supplemented with 15 mitochondrial gene sequences from Biomphalaria glabrata, 26 (12 nuclear + 14 mitochondrial) gene sequences from Schistosoma mansoni and 12 (9 nuclear + 3 mitochondrial) gene sequences from Echinostoma paraensei) were used as targets for e-array (Agilent) design of unique 60-mer probe sequences. Single replicate probes were arranged in 8 x 60k custom microarray format with Agilent 60-mer SurePrint technology. Design name Biomphalaria glabrata Transcriptomev1_28Sep10.
