Title
NRC-BRI C. albicans expression microarray V2.0
Technology type
spotted oligonucleotide
Distribution
non-commercial
Organism
Candida albicans
Manufacturer
National Research Council Canada - Biotechnology Research Institute
Manufacture protocol
Probe design was done using a sliding window of 70 bp moved from the 3' -> 5' end of the target sequence. Self-annealing was calculated at each position as well as the GC count. A pre-computed cumulative mask of all the significant alignments found in the genome was made to favour regions that are unique for each genomic region. Oligos were resuspended at 22 µM concentration in 50% DMSO and spotted on Corning Ultragaps slides with a BioRad ChipWriter Pro microarray spotter equipped with 48 SMP3 pins (Telechem ArrayIt). UV crosslinking (600 mJ) was performed in a Stratagene UV Stratalinker.
