Title |
Transcriptional changes in mouse lungs induced by house dust mite |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We examined the transcriptional changes in mouse lungs induced by house dust mite (HDM), D.f. extract and the isolated RNA was utilized for RNA-seq analysis. Our results demonstrated that HDM strongly triggered an inflammatory response.

Overall design |
Total RNA was isolated from the lung of wild type or TLR3MAVS double knockout mice that were treated with PBS or HDM (D.f.) extract for 14-16 hours. Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation was performed following manufacturer's protocol. Samples were run on an Illumina HiSeq 3000 . Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and masked for low-complexity or low-quality sequence, then mapped to mm9 whole genome using TopHat v2.0.8b. Genes were annotated and quantified by HTSeq-DESeq pipeline.
