Title Investigating the effect of inflammatory conditions on acetaminophen-induced liver injury using 3D human multicellular microtissues
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary To investigate the molecular mechanisms of the inflammation-mediated exacerbation of increased acetaminophen (APAP) toxicity.

Overall design 3D-co-cultured microtissues (MTs), consisting of primary human hepatocytes (PHH) and Kupffer cells (KCs), were exposed to 0, 0.5, 5 and 10 mM acetaminophen for 24h with/without lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
