Summary We report that nuclear PTEN negatively regulates DNA-binding activity of SMAD3. We compared SMAD3 binding activity in colorectal tumor cells without or with a nuclear PTEN (C124S) mutant.
 
Overall design ChIP-seq analysis of SMAD3 binding activity in colorectal tumor cells SW480, SW480 with PTEN knockout (SW480 KOEMT), and PTEN-negatvie SW480 reconstituted with a nuclear PTEN (C124S) mutant (SW480 KOEMT + nuclear PTEN [C124S]).
