Title |
Translational regulation of RANKL by CPEB2 regulates mammary gland development and luminal tumorigenesis (Affymetrix Microarrays) |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Here we show that the RNA-binding protein CPEB2 controls synthesis of RANKL, thereby modulating epithealial proliferation, differentiation and breast cancer outcome
|
|
|
Overall design |
Mouse array in duplicates of freshly sorted mammary epithelial populations: myoepithelial (Epcam_low and CD49f_high) and luminal (Epcam_high and CD49f_low). The sorted luminal subpopulations were non-clonogenic luminal (Sca1+CD49b-), ductal progenitors (Sca1+CD49b+) and alveolar progenitors (Sca1-Cd49b+).
