Title Whole Blood MicroRNA Biomarkers for Blood-stage of Imported Falciparum Malaria through Integrated mRNA and miRNA Expression Profiling [miRNA]
Platform organism synthetic construct
Sample organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by array
Summary human blood mRNA and miRNA expression profile in imported falciparum malaria vs. health.

Overall design To explore the in vivo function of miRNAs blood-stage of imported falciparum malaria patients, we used Primeview microarrays to examine the occurrence of human mature mRNAs and miRNA4.0 microarrays to examine the occurrence of human mature miRNAs in whole blood specimens obtained from 6 Chinese imported falciparum malaria and 6 normal subjects, respectively.
