Title RNA-Seq Analysis of Wild Type and LGMN-/- Peritoneal Macrophage Transcriptomes.
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Research on the interaction between tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs) and tumour cells has generated great interest in the potential use of macrophages as a therapeutic strategy against tumour cells. Here, we show that deletion of legumain, a conversed proteolytic enzyme in macrophages, promotes senescence of macrophages and tumour cells. Peritoneal macrophages isolated from wide type and lgmn-/- mice were co-cultured with EO771 breast cancer cells for 4 days. Total RNA was extracted for RNA-Seq analysis, cDNA library construction and sequencing were performed using BGISEQ-500 platform.

Overall design Examination of differential expressive genes in peritoneal macrophages extracted from wide type and lgmn-/- mice after co-cultured with EO771 cells for 4 days.
