Title |
Analysis of epigenome reprogramming and pre-malignant transformation in bronchial epithelial cell lines |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Methylation profiling by array
|
Summary |
An in vitro model of pre-malignancy was used to evaluate the role of double-strand break DNA repair capacity in transformation of hTERT/CDK4 immortalized human bronchial epithelial cells and reprogramming of the epigenome. Remove probes on X and Y chromosomes, detection p-value >0.01 and/or outside TSS1500-1st Exon genomic region. Analysis was restricted to probes for genes found to be methylated in TCGA lung cancer tumors and change in beta values was assessed in transformed clones compared to vehicle treated control cell lines.
