Title |
MicroRNAs are important mediators of BMP-7 induced dendritic growth in sympathetic neurons |
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by array
|
Summary |
MicroRNA profiling of cultured sympathetic neurons from the superior cervical ganglia of E21 Sprague-Dawley rat pups following growth under control conditions or after treatment with BMP-7 at 50 ng/mL for 6 hours or 24 hours.

|
Overall design |
Three conditions - Control, BMP-7 (50 ng/mL) for 6 hours, BMP-7 for 24 hours. Each RNA sample (called one biological replicate) was a pooled mixture of RNA samples from all the pups in a litter. Two such RNA samples per condition were used for the microarray analyses.
