Status Public on Jun 15, 2020
Title Transcriptome profile of Primary Human Lung Fibroblasts (Cystic Fibrosis vs. Non-Cystic Fibrosis) arranged in a 3D model of the connective airways tissue
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary The 3D model of the connective airways tissue was obtained by using a specific bottom up approach of tissue engineering allowing to develop 3D tissues featured by the presence of fibroblasts embedded into an endogenous matrix produced by fibroblasts themselves.

Overall design Total RNA was extracted from Cystic Fibrosis and Non-Cystic Fibrosis fibroblasts after 4 weeks of culture of the connective airways tissue in vitro.
