Summary The effect of standard tissue culture on AdMSC is not well defined, therefore we sought to analyse global changes in microRNA expression when a defined ex vivo population of AdMSC was subjected to standard tissue culture conditions.
 
Overall design A cocktail of antibodies and immunomagnetic beads were used to enrich for untouched ex vivo AdMSC from the stromal vascular fraction of adipose tissue. We used microarrays to detail the global changes in microRNA expression when these cells are freshly sorted and compared to when these cells are grown in standard tissue culture conditions for different time periods
