Summary |
This study aims to measure the impact of Ifnar1-/- knockdown (KO) on the transcriptome profile in cultured IEC 4.1 cell in response to C. parvum infection. IEC4.1-WT cells and IEC4.1-Ifnar1-/- cells (stably CRISPR/Cas9 knockout; C12 KO cells) were exposed to C. parvum infection. Cells treated with a scrambled non-specific siRNA were used as the control. Total RNA was collected for the genome-wide analysis.

Overall design |
The murine intestinal epithelial cells were grown to 80% confluence for four groups: IEC4.1 control (Group A, A1-A3), IEC4.1 + C. parvum 24h (Group E, E1-E3, IEC 4.1 cells exposed to C. parvum infection for 24h), C12 control (Group C, C1-C3), C12 + C. parvum 24h (Group F, F1-F3, C12 cells exposed to C. parvum infection for 24h). After treatment, total RNAs were prepared with the RNeasy Mini kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer’s instruction.
