Title Gene expression profiling of glucocorticoid receptor signaling in a prostate cancer epithelial cell lines (LNCaPabl-Abi, LNCaPabl-Enza)

Summary Glucocorticoid receptor (GR) has been recently identified as a candidate for acquired anti-androgen and chemotherapy resistance.
In order to identify GR targets and studying epithelial GR signaling gene expression profiling was performed in different prostate cancer cell lines treated with the glucocorticoide dexamethasone.
 
Overall design Two prostate cancer cell lines (LNCaPabl-Abi, LNCaPabl-Enza) were treated with dexamethasones and compared to a control treatment (DMSO). Experiments were performed in triplicates.
