Title Roles of LOX and LOXL1 on the transcriptome of hepatic stellate cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Our previous studies have found that LOX and LOXL1 were highly upregulated in advanced liver fibrosis; herein, we aimed to investigate the roles of LOX and LOXL1 in hepatic stellate cells.

Overall design LOX or LOXL1 siRNA (25nM) was transfected into TGFβ1-treated (10ng/ml) LX-2 cells (n=3 for each group) for 48 hours. Total RNA was isolated using Trizol reagent (Invitrogen, USA). Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, USA) was used to evaluate the RNA quality. One μg RNA was used to generate cDNA library. We performed RNA-seq by BGISEQ-500.
