Title |
Activation dependent gene expression in Treg cells compared to various inhibitory factors |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Regulatory T (Treg) cells are involved in self tolerance and suppression of immunity to pathogens or tumours. FOXP3 is essential for Treg cell development and function. However, the FOXP3-dependent molecular mechanisms are not well understood. Here we compare the expression levels in CD4+ as well as Treg cells in reponse to different treatments in order to evaluate the Treg cell specific gene expression profile.

Overall design |
Freshly isolated CD4+ T cells, CD4+CD25- as well as CD4+CD25+ Treg cells were treated as indicated and afterwards analysed by perfoming genome-wide expression analysis.
