Title Regulation of adipocyte differentiation by IRF3

Summary The hypothesis tested is that IRF3 regulates adipogenesis and adipocyte function. Global gene expression of IRF3 wildtype (WT) and knockout (KO) adipocytes at different days during differentiation was compared. The results provide evidence on how IRF3 controls PPARg -regulated adipogenic program thereby regulate adipocyte differentiation.
 
Overall design IRF3 WT and KO preadipocytes were isolated from white adipose tissue for differentation. Cells were harvested at day 3, 5, 7 and 9 during differentiation to isolate RNA for microarray analysis.
