Title Relative contributions of sex hormones, sex chromosomes, and gonads to sex differences in tissue gene regulation
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary We systemetically distinguished the effects of each class of sex-biasing factors on transcriptome regulation in liver and adipose tissues with the Four Core Genotype (FCG) mouse model. The results offers a tissue-specific account of the individual contribution of major sex-biasing factors to gene regulation.

Overall design We utilized the Four Core Genotype (FCG) mouse model with or without hormone replacement to distinguish the effects of each class of sex-biasing factors on transcriptome regulation (e.g., gene expression, molecular pathways, gene network organizations, etc.) in liver and adipose tissue.
