Title MicroRNAs dysregulation in experimental interstitial cystitis
Platform organism synthetic construct
Sample organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by array
Summary We compared the chnages in urinary bladder and iliac lymph nodes microRNAs in the control and experimental autoimmune cystitis in mice.
A set of urinary bladder microRNAs (miRNAs) shows profound upregulation or downregulation in the expression profiles of the experimental IC as compared to control.

Overall design We observed distinct miRNAs expression patterns for the EAC groups as compared to the controls, suggesting that EAC may result from the dysregulation of miRNAs in the urinary bladder and ILNs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on changes in the urinary bladder and ILNs miRNAs expression in an experimental mouse model of IC.
