Summary The goals of this study are to investigate the molecular mechanism and biomarker by DNA methylation profiles in patients with metabolic syndrome compared to normal.
 
Overall design In this study, we performed Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChIP and RNA-seq with same patients to explore a molecular targets for the prediction of metabolic syndrome. A total of 20 participants, including 11 patietns with metabolic syndrome and 9 normal were enrolled in our study.
