Title Expression data from kidney biopsies of patients with chronic liver disease

Summary Identification of increased complement component expression in the kidneys of patients with defined chronic liver disease etiology will allow future mechanistic studies of liver-associated renal injury. This study demonstrates the urgency for further investigation of renal function relative to inflammatory liver diseases.
 
Overall design Renal biopsies from patients with chronic liver disease underwent RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays to obtain global transcriptional profiles for hypothesis driving experiments
