Title Single-cell RNA sequencing of human hypopharynx
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Cellular origins of hypopharynx diseases are crucial for further diagnosis and treatments, and the immune microenvironment in tissues may also be associated with specific cell types simultaneously. For the above reasons, we should rapidly investigate the classification and transcriptomic information of the human hypopharynx. Thus, we obtained a single-cell suspension of normal hypopharynx and conducted single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Here, we present the scRNA-seq data of 39315 high_x0002_quality cells from the hypopharynx of five human donors. In this dataset, we show 9 clusters of normal human hypopharynx cells. Due to the high quality of single-cell transcriptomic information, hypopharynx cells were classifed into two large groups, non-immune cells and immune. Collectively, our data provide a reliable reference for studies on hypopharynx cell biology and related diseases.

Overall design Examination of the expression of cells and genes in 5 normal hypopharyngeal tissues
