Title Whole Blood Transcriptional Response to Pediatric Influenza Infection

Summary The objective of this study was to identify the transcriptional siganture of influenza infection in a pediatric populationfor comparison with other disease datasets.
 
Overall design Pediatric influenza patients (n=19) had whole blood samples collected into Tempus tubes upon presentation at local hospital with follow up confirmation of influenza infection. Age matched healthy controls were also collected (n=12) for microarray anlysis
