Title Effect of electroacupuncture on the skeletal muscle atrophy induced by hindlimb suspension in mice
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary The effect of electroacupuncture on the transcriptional profile of the skeletal muscle atrophy induced by hindlimb suspension were examined.
We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying cellularisation and identified distinct classes of up-regulated and down-regulated genes during this process.

Overall design Total RNA samples were isolated from soleus muscle obtained from mice. The RNA was converted to biotin-labeled cRNA, which was hybridized to Affymetrix 1.0 ST array. The hybridization experiments were performed in duplicate.
